ALBUM 3 COVER.png

March 21, 2025, New Album - After the End

Drifting between the realms of electronic ambiance and post-classical textures, After the End is a sonic journey crafted by Daniel Coppens. Across eight instrumental tracks, flowing synths intertwine with delicate guitar lines, organic percussion, and evocative melodies, creating an immersive and meditative soundscape. Rooted in atmosphere yet pulsing with movement, the album invites listeners to explore moments of stillness and transformation.

After the End is a reflection on what comes next—after change, after loss, after the world shifts in ways we never expected. It’s about the quiet space that follows endings, where uncertainty and possibility intertwine. For some, it might evoke a sense of closure, a deep breath before moving forward. For others, it could be the soundtrack to reinvention, a moment to embrace what’s new and unknown. Through flowing synths, layered melodies, and organic textures, the music invites listeners to find beauty in transitions and meaning in the spaces left behind.

January 10, 2025, New Single - The Fall

A new single for the New Year!  The Fall was created with the season of Fall in mind when it was created.   I had just moved from Florida in the US to North Carolina and the change of seasons really show here unlike the Florida where we were closer to the southern hemisphere.  The leaves were falling and the temperatures were dropping and it was crisp with the light changing.   I hope you like it and it brings you memories of a special Fall to your thoughts.

October 27, 2023, New Single - Genesis

This single came about around the idea that there is a new beginning afoot, one of renewing where the veil is lifted the shell is cast away.   Genesis is defined as the origin or coming into being of something.

"And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings."
– Meister Eckhart

January 27, 2023, New Album

After the debut album Ghost Tree, and traveling through the strange times of the pandemic, the newest release by Daniel Coppens - The Hidden Abundance of Purpose was composed with the idea that within all of us there is an innate purpose in life and that it only needs to be discovered. There are ten songs on the album, and all are connected with this in mind and that we are never alone on this planet, and we are all cut from the same cloth.

The Album was recorded over a two-year period and included a time during the recording as his father was in decline and passed. The music reflects some of the sadness and also knowing that he is in a place filled with only light and love. The song Fermer is dedicated to him and his walk back home.

To start off 2022 the single Simultaneity was released.  This meditative ambient song was based on the idea that there are synchronicities between humans who were meant to be together in this lifetime.

About

Daniel
Coppens

About

Daniel Coppens crafts music that resonates with nostalgia and introspection, weaving vaporous electronic textures and modern orchestral movements into immersive sonic landscapes. His compositions evoke a sense of reflection and melancholy, guiding listeners on journeys of serenity and contemplation, often tinged with echoes of the past.

A multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Daniel’s passion for music ignited at the age of fifteen with the guitar. Early influences like Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, and Tangerine Dream shaped his approach, inspiring his unique blend of ambient and electronic expression.

Daniel’s debut album, Ghost Tree (2020), introduced an eclectic mix of delicate soundscapes and spectral synth mosaics, setting the foundation for his evolving artistry. Over the years, he has released a series of ambient-driven singles, including:

  • Simultaneity – a meditative piece designed for deep listening.

  • I Am Because You Are – featuring introspective upright bass and atmospheric textures.

  • Genesis – a fusion of ethereal synths and electric guitar.

  • The Fall – an ode to the changing seasons, capturing the beauty of transformation.

Following Ghost Tree, Daniel composed his latest album, The Hidden Abundance of Purpose, during the pandemic—a time of deep reflection. This collection of ten interconnected tracks explores the idea that purpose exists within us all, waiting to be discovered, and that we are all intrinsically connected.

Now, Daniel is preparing to release his most ambitious project yet: After the End. This forthcoming eight-track album, meticulously crafted over the course of 2024, embraces a cohesive sonic sensibility, flowing seamlessly without being a traditional concept album. Set for release in February/March 2025, After the End promises to be an evocative journey through sound, emotion, and introspection.

For those who seek immersive soundscapes, ambient reflection, and electronic storytelling, Daniel Coppens’ music offers a world where time slows, memories resurface, and the mind is free to wander.
